APPLIES TO: This fuel pump circuit wiring diagram applies to the following vehicles:

  • 4.0L V6 Ford Explorer: 2005.

The wiring diagram includes the following circuits:

  • PCM Power Relay.
  • Fuel Pump Relay.
  • Fuel Pump Inertia Switch.
    • Location: You'll find the fuel pump inertia switch hidden behind the kick panel on the passenger side —just under the glove box area.
  • Fuel Pump Driver Module.
    • Location: The fuel pump driver module is located in the D-pillar area —on the passenger side of the cargo space, just inside the liftgate. It sits behind the interior trim panel, between the right rear wheel well and the liftgate opening, directly behind the passenger-side tail light assembly.
